Dark World
I took some photos in the shade around 2 p.m. so you could see what it is like. I used a magazine as reference for size. I like this tent and can't wait to use it. Walmart would only let me put on 2 of the many photos. So I will go and put them on Amazon.

DO NOT BUY IF YOU WANT TO STAY DRY
If I could give 0 stars I would!
I bought this tent a few weeks ago and have used it twice, BOTH TIMES I ended up with WATER inside my tent. The second time I had several big puddles in my tent leading to a lot of my stuff getting soaked (picture for proof) and the storm was not even that bad! I could not be more disappointed with this tent. If I could return this product I would in a flash! Huge waste of $120 very unhappy customer!

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/09/2022We returned it.I loved the dark out feature. But I returned it because it got wet on the inside. Which made no sense because it's vented AND cold so how it had enough condensation to get wet is a mystery.Acacia

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/20/2021Stargazing while camping in this roomy tentThis tent was very easy to put together by myself. I really appreciate the ceiling height. I'm able to fully stand up even near the wall areas of the tent. I like that it has two windows that can be unzipped open. There are also 2 skylights in the top that are easily opened up. Very roomy . I use a full size air mattress. This could easily fit a queen air mattress.Robin

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/03/2021LEAKS BAD!!!One star because it leaks horribly and it wasn't even raining hard! We stayed on the coast so it was a misty day and the spots that were not covered by the rain jacket got soaked outside and in. There are some good qualities in the set up and design however what's the point of it won't keep you dry? Luckily for us it wasn't wet until the last night, so I only had one miserable sleepless night making sure my kids stayed dry and warm. I returned it. Pics below show how soaked it got on the outside and if you zoom in you can see the darker lines of water of where it leaked inside. Also there is an inside pic it's dark (that part about the tent is right, it stays dark!) but the best I could get.katej

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser06/30/2021Love it!I love this tent! The blackout material works great and I can stand up in it. (Im 5 8) My son and I use 2 twin mattress in it and we have lots of extra room. Im sure we could fit 2 queen mattresses in it but that would probably take up all the floor space. I love how there are several windows that can be opened or closed. Also the rain cover has windows that can be rotated if you want sunlight. We used it both ways camping in Montana. Also love the small hole in the side for electric cord. (We used it for the hose that connects the buddy heater to the propane tank)Melanie

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser06/29/2021Leaked horriblyI purchased this tent for a camping trip I took with my daughter. I've camped my entire life. I set up the tent and followed the directions. Our first evening we had some rain and it leaked horribly. The seam between the bottom footprint tarp and the tent was dripped water. Not just a little bit. It was a constant drip. I was not happy. I'm hoping that I will be able to return this tent. I'm not sure if it's defective or just the tent.Candace

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser05/07/2019Best Tent For The Price!Preface: It's a 4 star tent but the cost to satisfaction ratio is so high, I had to give it 5 stars! Pros: Great lighting, even with rain fly on. You can open 2 windows, the door window, and two skylights on top (even with the rainfly on. The skylights are a very nice touch. All of that makes this tent unique. Great airflow. The way the windows, ceiling mesh and air vent are designed, air pours through. There's a space between the rainfly and ceiling mesh that air flows through even when all other vents/windows are closed. So, if it's raining, and muggy, you still get airflow! Mesh ceiling without rainfly (for looking at stars). Great headroom. I'm 5' 8" and this is PERFECT for me. It's tall all of the way around, which is nice. Makes changing and moving around so easy and comfortable. This is not the easy up version. I personally like this one more. It seems to have more overall headroom than the easy up version (sides aren't so angled). Packs down VERY small (far smaller than the easy up version) Dark Rest adds a nice touch (more on this later in the cons). The wall organizer is not gimmicky at all. It's actually very useful. The ceiling organizer is nice too. However, you must choose between it or the hook for the lantern (which is attached to center top of tent). You can pack the tent away with the organizers still attached. I chose lantern over ceiling organizer. Very sharp looking tent! Fairly easy to set up. Used a tent heater in 38 degrees and stayed VERY warm (more on this later in the neutral section). I walk around at campgrounds and notice everyone's tents. This is currently my favorite mid-sized tent out there. Cons: The door zippers suuuuuck. Hopefully it gets easier to use as time goes on. I saw a hack on Youtube. Use string to stake down the bottom zipper and leave it closed permanently. Then only open and close the side zipper to get in. You'll understand when you use it. But this will help the zipper move easier. The dark rest is only decent. It definitely makes it darker but it's not really THAT dark. Rainfly has 4 guy lines. This gives you 4 lines to trip on in camp. However, this is a great trade-off to have the cabin style tent vs. a no headroom tent with zero windows and airflow when the rainfly is on. Nuetral: I used the tent in 38 degree weather and had a tent heater going. It was VERY toasty in the tent. Unlike my 10 person tent (which is larger and has higher ceilings. In the 10 person tent, all of the heat rose to the top and spread out and my heater failed to keep that larger tent warm). However, with this Ozark Trail tent, there is no way to close the space between the ceiling mesh and rainfly. That's a great feature for summer! But a cold feature for winter if it's windy at all. It was a calm 38 degrees and we were Extremely warm. But, I can already tell, on windy cold nights, the air will get blown around inside the tent. But maybe that will blow the hot heater air down towards the ground, where we are sleeping, and that is yet to be tested. Without a heater, this could get cold fast. Overall: I chose this tent because I loved the idea of having windows to open and close even with a rainfly on. I also chose it as it has the perfect amount of headroom but would also not keep my heater air too high up from the ground. The space is used very well and it's easy and basic to set up. I'm so happy I went with this tent over everything else out there.Mike
