Started showing red vertical lines less than 1yr
Started off with a great picture, but this TV started showing red vertical lines across the screen in less than 1yr after purchase. It's also rather glitchy. The remote doesn't respond if you get a short signal interruption. Slow startup and response time all around. The browser is extremely slow too.

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser11/27/2020Sure this is a rare occurencePost mounting the TV and powering up, a small crack appeared on the screen with vertical lines across a part of the top of the screen. I am sure its a great product but somehow I received one with a damaged screen.Asis

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser11/25/2020LG makes a refined quality picture, be gentle! Its too big for my bedroom, but if you have an enormous bedroom its great. Its almost too big for my living room, great for most, and too small for an enormous home. The picture would be better if you could individually adjust things, but the modes are sufficient for most. Its more realistic and clear than others, not as exagerated as some, and definitely enjoyable. I bought LG because I liked its realistic picture. Setup is fabulous, its designed for a wall. If you plan on a tabletop- the feet are so wide apart you need a long one, and two people to gently place it up exactly flat, the feet bend easily, -and that makes it impossible to ever set it upright, if bent it wobbles so much it would tip back or over completely. I had to order a center stand, and got one that swivels from the LG parts vendor for around $50. Happy. The hookup could not be easier, I have cable and my computer hooked in and it goes from one to the other without any difficulty. Please note: this tv is fragile. Many sets are broken on the edge by delivery services so open it up and check the corners of the screen for hairline cracks. When you take it out, do so onto a comforter or pillows on the floor and slide it out carefully. Do not touch the screen, ever. Hold it by the frame. It is thin, light, and tempting to handle alone. It is easy to work if you have really long arms. Balance it carefully when you push in the cords and screw in the cables. Treat this tv gently and you will have a piece of art. Do not put it where anyone will knock it. Built in or back in a corner or up on the wall all are great! I have watched movies, LG TV ( loads of interesting programming come built in when you hook it up to wi-fi), Netflix, and Amazon Prime. Sometimes I go to settings and revise the mode for older movies, (so Im glad that there's that easy way to change back and forth.) LG delivers on its reputation as a wonderful electronics company. Its up there with Samsung and Sony. Samsung has a more colorized picture, (unrealistic and jumps out of the screen at you,) Sony is more crisp and immediate (you feel like you are in it,) and LG is realistic- ( you feel like the picture is just as the studio made it,) at a price point competitive with more substantial, sturdy TVs, but I like the great size and picture quality that the gentle handling is worth the risk of accidentally cracking it. A great TV for the money. Be careful with it. I have only had it a couple weeks so I cannot comment on longevity or overall quality. I hope it lasts as long as my dads Samsung! My old Emerson had a part that broke not too long after the warranty. It was a Walmart Black Friday one year and I loved it too for a couple years, this is my second try for a good deal. Together they make a nice way to keep this household blessed with fine quality video, and for that I am incredibly grateful to Walmart. I did professional photography and made print ads - LG is refined realistic quality.Kathi

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser11/03/2020GOOD tv, BAD privacy, SAD wall mountPROS: Good value, nice picture, ok setup CONS: Too much privacy invasion with lots of functions unavailable unless you allow them to peek at what you watch and how you use the TV. This is a problem with most smart TVs ANNOYING: Power input is right at the same level as mounting holes so had to saw off the wall mount bracket to make it work. Could you just align it an inch up or down?Mattias

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/24/2020Happy purchase, disappointed in Fed Ex.The TV is amazing and arrived undamaged but 1 Star to Fed Ex because I wasn at home and they left the TV on the porch by the steps for anyone to come and steal. They even left it standing up where it could have easily toppled off of the porch and hit the ground. Ridiculous!Barbara
