Really great and a fantastic bargain!
Awesome umbrella! Don't forget to plug in the connector in the top. I love that this umbrella has an/off switch.

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/22/2021How to activate solar lights!Twist solar counterclockwise, remove solar component, take wire connection nestled in hole at top, take male connection and plug into bottom of solar component, replace solar component to top of pole, twist clockwise until locked. Reinstall umbrella top to base pole. Red on/ off switch is on pole near where the base pole attaches to umbrella pole. I read someone else's review to learn this. But when it came out of box the solar panel was broken and the umbrella was dirty. Possibly a return? No instructions in the box. I really hope I can return.april

The solar lights were pretty, and it's very large. However, after having it for only one week, it snapped in half! I have 3 umbrellas in my yard, and have for many years, I've never seen this before. So disappointed. Tried to call the seller, it just rings, and then it stops.Elizabeth

Unfortunately, this item does not come with any instructions, however, I read all reviews which kindly explained the lights do work, but you have to unwind the solar panel on top, easily connect the make/female parts together then reconnect the solar panel by screwing back on, and voila, the lights DO work! There is a little red on/off switch on the umbrella pole. Leave off during the day, do not to use solar power saved. Your solar panel will receive power ftom sun, and if no sun that day, having leafy light switch off, you can now turn on and enjoy at night. In other words, switch off during day switch on at night if on patio wanting it on. So many people have returned this beautiful umbrella thinking faulty lights because NO directions in package, when all along they just need to be connected. I read all reviews plus viewed videos, and none of them explained the little red on/off switch. Great but, you wont be disappointed at all. Great price, and again, received before estimated date. I enjoy it every night. Little hint, when closed up to keep nice and secure, spend $3 bucks for a bungee cord to wrap around! Enjoy!Kathleen
