Designed for low cost
I used to buy Fram oil filters until I saw comparisons to OEM Motorcraft. It is clear that the design goal for Fram is cost, not quality. They cost more to boot. I use OEM or other High-quality filters on my cars. I still use Fram air filters.

    Awesome filter!1
    This product is awesome!! I hooked it up to a pump system and filtered used cooking oil. Then I could reuse the cooking oil over and over. I estimate I can fry almost 10000 chickens before I have to change the oil for new. Saves me a ton of money at my Road Kill Cafe. Thanks Fram!!!

    Wrong filter in box . filled with oil before found out it was wrong filter . than what was on box .

    Works for me.
    I've used for years on a used land rover I have with no issues. My mechanic did suggest I switch filters and use other than fram. It works as far as I can see with no issues. I do like the grip on the end.

    The filter is filtering oil like it should. It fit my '06 Jeep Wrangler. Price was right, just had to wait for it to get to the store so I could pick it up. I'd do this again.
