Finger lickin good!
This chicken is a great buy at $1.99 per pound. It is fairly clean and such large breasts , I cut them in half so that one breast makes two servings, they are so thick. I love to use these to make cornflake coated chicken breast and bake them, sprayed with a little oil.

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser03/03/2023Bones, fat and bloody veinsProduct quality has significantly diminished over the years. Not trimmed, will need to watch for bones and dig out the bloody veins. I don’t mind trimming some fat, but it’s getting ridiculous. Found bone well over an inch long, and have found several in the past that were small enough to be missed (and sharp!). Definite choking hazard.Dcgkgw

2.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser02/12/2023Untrimmed and Bone-In chickenThis was absolutely ridiculous. When I’m paying $16 for “boneless, skinless” chicken, it would be nice to receive what I’m paying for. I’ve never been so irritated about chicken, but I spent 1 hour deboning and trimming the 4 packages I got. The amount of meat that I lost because I don’t have the proper knife for this sucked, but I had so much skin, bone, and TALONS in my chicken. This is absolutely absurd to be charging so much and then not following through on what the package claimed! Very disappointed with this!Stephanie

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser02/06/2023walmart - expired, slimy, smelly chickenPurchased 5 lbs 2/6 via Walmart pick up. walmart selects a pack that expires 2/7. Started to make dinner only to realize I paid full price for 5 lbs of smelly, slimy chicken. Clever way to clear their shelves of old product - fob it off on Walmart customers too lazy to pick their own groceries.Jo

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser01/24/2023Totally disgustingThese almost always have bones in them. The last order actually had a wad of metal in it. Do not buy this. Walmart only refunded the cost of the chicken itself and nothing for the inconvenienceGreat

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser01/17/2023paying double for lower qualityseems like for the past 6 months the quality of this chicken has tanked. usually a pack will last almost a week in the fridge but now goes bad within two-three days. finding tons of bones, etc as well which will increase the cost. price per pound has doubled in a year so we are paying more for lower quality. do better walmart. also finding more chicken like in the picture - with a spaghetti texture. definitely not eating that.sweetkia86

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser12/06/20222-3 x the sodium of other brands!!!If the nutrition labels are correct, there is a huge difference in the sodium content of these three products. Comparing fresh chicken breasts that list the ingredients as only "Chicken" with no other additives, Walmart's brand is double or triple that of Tyson and Perdue. Walmart is the only label that says "less than 2% retained moisture" ... however it would be a reasonable conclusion to draw that added sodium would increase the amount of fluid retained in the meat (just like humans) which would cause the chicken to weigh more... and cost more. I know Walmart's FROZEN chicken is infused with a sodium solution because it is listed on the label. The fresh chicken in the meat case says no such thing. Walmart, you can do better.KARI

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/01/2022Tough chicken. Please issue refund.I purchased this pack of chicken breasts with online shipping and delivery. I cooked two (2) breasts tonight ( cut each in twi parts as they were very thick). The meat is so tough we cannot eat it. I have 6 more of these in the freezer, and they will not be fit to eat.WBankson061

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser03/22/2022Rotten Chicken BreastOne of the packs of chicken breast is rotten. I was unpacking my groceries and smelled the worst stench from one of the bags. Who ever completed my shopping order doesn't know the difference between the smell of fresh meat or the smell of rotten meat. The smell is so bad that you can smell it even before uncovering it from the gray plastic Walmart bags. Oh my God it stinks so bad. The expiration date is still good but maybe someone took the meat and left it in an unrefrigerated aisle for a long time and by the time an employee found it to refrigerate it again. The meat must of spoiled already. That's what I assumed happened. However, I trust that I will be refunded for this. Besides this incident everything seems fine.Jenny

2.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser03/14/2022check for bonesThis chicken claims to be boneless but have found multiple bones across multiple packages. If didn't trim the fat off (there can be alot) before cooking someone could end up biting into it.Trina

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser11/21/2021Are you seriously charging me for this?!I was sold damaged chicken. One entire end of the package is ripped open and was exposed to oxygen turning the meat brown. This is highly unsafe and unsanitary You're going to make a lot of people sick. I demand a refund.Chef
