Cleans as Good as Noxema
The only advantage to the name brand is it comes out of the jar a bit softer.
Both are cooling/soothing, and help to clear your sinuses a bit in the morning if you get a bit stuffy from central air in the cooler months.
I've used it both in the morning before hopping in the shower, and at night before bed, and it's all a personal choice of when you prefer it.
The name brand eucalyptus cold cream really isn't superior, and I typically only select that anymore when this one is out of stock.
Initially I was skeptical as the name brand has a sensitive formula (and so have relatively sensitive skin) but I guess years of using eucalyptus cold cream has made my skin less sensitive to it,
and I don't need to use a “sensitive formula” any more.
If the smell of eucalyptus isn't something you enjoy, you may want to try a different type of cold cream or facial cleanser. But, if you LIKE Eucalyptus, this is a nice cool treat!

Not good
I bought this as a cheaper option for Noxema, and I usually like the equate products, but this is horrible. Smells bad and is chunky and clumpy. Sometimes you just have to buy the name brand...

It kinda separates into a cream with small chunks that take a lot of lathering to dissolve. Overall, I still get the same tingling, cooling sensation and clean skin at a better price.Matt

We all have oily, acne prone skin which this cleanser works great to keep clear and smooth. This store- brand version of Noxzema smells and works exactly the same, for a much better price. It also works great for sunburns! Highly recommend!Kelly

It smells SOOO bad and the scent of it lingered in my shower and on my skin and that's in addition to the film it left on my face. My makeup wouldn't even adhere to skin. That's scary..If I could give 0 stars I would. Don't buy!!!jasmine

It will keep your face smooth and soft. I never had a problem with pimples or acne but when I do I just dab a little on and it will be gone the next morning. Best face cream on the planet and been around forever!gghardin

This is THE ORIGINAL Noxema formula. The one from back in the day before people became paranoid and thought everything from a lab will hurt them. This is the original beauty cream in all it's waxy, creamy, shimmery glory. My grandmother (who lived until her 90's, by the way) used it daily and when she died had ZERO wrinkles. She slept with it on overnight. That was her entire beauty regimen. So I'm happy to buy this every time I go to Walmart, whether I need it or not. There are many uses for it besides for your face... It can help keep your body cooler on a summer day if you use it like body lotion on your core. It also is great as a burn treatment for minor burns. Walmart will have a customer for life if they please keep stocking this product exactly as it is!gen
