So far, very good
I've had it running for a couple of weeks. So far I've had no problems. Install was very easy and I've had a considerable improvement in signal strength and speed over my older Netgear wireless N USB adapter. Getting very good signal strength through at least 3 walls and at a distance. I am very pleased with it's performance.

Great but no driver for Mac OS 13.1
This was a great product, and got better range than several other similar units I tried. I would love to keep using this, but this device has become a brick, since there is no driver for the newest Mac OS. 13.1/ Ventura. Not sure if it's Linksys that hasn't tried or the new Mac OS it's too hard to write for. For now until / if their drivers are updated, this ends the use of this product on all future Mac's. Pretty disappointing.

    Very, very pleased
I moved my PC from one room to another and had terrible problems with the WiFi, it was driving my kids crazy who use it for gaming. We were experiencing 2-3 mbps and >300ping whereas a laptop on the same desk was getting far better. I went for the Nighthawk and my son watched intently install it and a huge smile emerged as the first speed test showed >100mbps and 7 ping. What a difference.

    Great performance!
I was having a problem with low signal strength on my shop computer that was connected to my home network. I got a Netgear Nighthawk 1900 adapter and both my upload and download speed increased by 5 times! Now the shop computer, which is 150 feet from the home router, operates the same as the computer in the house.

    Excellent Adapter
After purchasing Netgear's Orbi router I discovered my wife's old computer would not access the internet. After researching what to do I learned that the NETGEAR Nighthawk AC1900 Wi-Fi USB Adapter (A7000) was the perfect answer. It was and now that old computer can access the internet with ease. Thank you Netgear for a perfect solution.

    Did the trick
When my son built a computer for me I was using an Ethernet cord but the speed was way too slow. I upgraded to a much faster cable system which required WiFi. So I needed an adapter. After reading reviews, I purchased the Netgear Nighthawk AC 1900. So glad I did. Internet speed is lightning fast. Thanks Netgear!

10 times better than my old Wifi Adapter
Greatly improved my wifi experience, extremely fast and just perfect for my needs. Signal strength is always on the highest bars even though router is about 40ft away. Works perfectly as advertised, no drop connections, no loss of speed and no lag when gaming. Thanks, Netgear for making a solid device.

    Perfection
I recently purchased a new laptop. The wi-fi adapter was horrible and kept disappearing. I decided to get an external one to use instead. This picks up right away when I start my laptop. Very nice to be able to be able to know I no longer have to hassle to get internet. The speed is incredible. Very happy with my purchase.

    Not for the Linux Community
I bought this when I was using a windows machine but later decided to go back to Linux. Netgear like a few others seems to have little interest in working with the Linux community. There are no drivers available through Netgear and the device is not even acknowledged when plugged into a USB port. Drivers can be compiled but it's a pain and they aren't all that effective. If you're a Linux user in need of an adapter, I suggest looking elsewhere. There are other companies that provide hardware that works with multiple operating systems, Netgear isn't one of them.

    Years behind MacOS
Despite what the box and web says, this device does NOT support 10.8 AND GREATER MacOS. It's mostly the “or greater” where it fails, because it does not. Netgear's Support team will recommend you return it to the store you bought it from, which I personally can't. So I am stuck with a product that does NOT do what the box and instructions say it can. Buyer beware, I was not the first fooled, and won't be the last. Netgear, please do better.

    Works GREAT!
Had a very old outdated wireless adapter from another brand. Internet speed tests were at about 14 mb/s download and 0.5 mb/s upload. After getting this Netgear adapter, same speed test site showed results of around 70 mb/s and 5.8 upload. That is over triple the amount and this is from a bedroom that the adapter must go through multiple walls. A reviewer had mentioned picking up wifi signals from blocks away, although I cannot confirm that, I will say this adapter has shown me surrounding wifi connections I had not seen before with the other adapter. Set up is pretty straightforward and easy.

    computer boost
I have an older computer that is not wireless. The NetGear adapter works great. I recently had to replace my 2nd one. this one is stronger and works well. Computer is faster. Had a problem setting it up (not a net gear problem, microsoft chose to do an update at the very time I was trying a setup). The tech at NetGear was wonderful though very frustrated with the set up. Timing was everything. When the update was done. NetGear went right in and works great.

Netgear Ac1900 WiFi adapter is ok.
This thing is reasonably fast. On my Gb service with 550Mbs WiFi, this device will pick up 500Mbs or slightly higher. You have yet to try it on a higher speed WiFi. The device is fairly large and doesn't plug into your laptop with grace. It is better with the cradle or an extension USB but then the orientation will be hard to maintain. For a desktop with the cradle, it is fine but for the price, maybe a WiFi-6 extender may be better. For a portable solution, this is marginal physically but will do the job.

Don't Skimp on a Wifi Adapter
I tried both the cheap $10 wifi adapter from Amazon and the pricier Netgear adapter. The $10 adapter was slow, choppy, unreliable and not a workable solution. The Netgear adapter is super fast and reliable. I use this at my office that has a hotspot nearby. I now get to dump my Frontier DSL that has become worse and worse over the years. Yipeee!
    Disappointed

    Not worth it.
Trash software and hard to set up, randomly disconnects from the internet. speeds were much less then advertised.

    This is, THE, wifi antennae.
Sturdy high quality (metal?) material. Hefty, and has magnets on the base so it'll stick to your pc case/hardware. A gamechanger as my old usb wifi antennae slid all over the place. Turns on almost automatically, about 2-3 seconds max from when you boot up your computer. Simple set-up even for non-computer savvy types like me. I have an old gaming pc from 2011 that doesn't receive wifi signals by default so if that's the reason you're buying an wifi antennae then this product is definitely the way to go. Not to mention that Netgear is probably the premium brand out there for computer components such as this.

    Disconnects
Bought this about 6 months ago. Been having constant disconnects about once an hour without warning every day. For 6 months. I've been trying to find fixes but I've came across nothing. Yes it has high speeds, but it is AWFUL when it comes to staying connected. The worst most expensive Adapter in the market.

    Good value for the price
Really good value for the price. Not sure why the stores don't carry this. The set up was easy less than 5 minutes. I upgraded from a previous Netgear connecter that I had and this one was easier to set up than the last one. Speeds are impressive.
