Very Cheap
One section of this desk actually apart while I was putting it together. I had to drill regular screws through the side of it to keep it together. The wood laminate peeled and chipped off the front side of the desktop piece, also during assembly. The way the directions want you to assemble it is absurd. If you don't have a second person, you will have to improvise. It is impossible for a single person to lift the entire top piece and align it with the holes on the bottom piece. Are they insane?! Anyway, I guess you get what you pay for. I like the way it looks, but if I could have spent the extra money, I would have.

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/20/2020Piece of junk!!! Cheap materials, wrong hardware..I would have given zero stars, if possible. This is such a piece of junk! I had missing cam bolts, chipped pieces, screws that clearly do not go to this piece and awful directions. I put together everything, always building something...these directions were so bad. Unfortunately, I didn't realize that things were missing or couldn't be used until it was half built, so now I am stuck with a half-built desk and have no other choice but to trash it or burn it in a bonfire. Don't waste your money!Amorgan8173

2.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/21/2020It is an OK deskAfter a very long assembly, we found a big scratch (defect)in the most noticeable place. Very disappointed with the quality control. The desk is OK ( looks cheapish). Good for the corner.Elena

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser06/29/2020Fairly easy assemblyThis was a project that I tried doing alone, but was unable to place the base and hutch together because of the weight. Other than that, it went together smoothly and looks great with my computer and accessories on it.Holthome

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser03/23/2019Mixed BagOn the plus side: 1) This is a very attractive desk once assembled. 2) Its shelves and desktop provide a nice amount of surface area for so compact a unit. (I've got a stereo system with speakers up top; shelves for papers, folders, books, CD/DVD/PC video games in the middle cupboard spaces; a monitor and laptop on the desk, with a section for a notebook; keyboard and mouse in the undercarriage; a PC tower below-left; and an empty shelf bottom-right. Not bad for a corner desk-hutch!) 3) Its affordable price is...well, let's just say you get what you pay for. (I'd love to see how professional movers would successfully move the assembled unit without breaking it.) Three warnings I must note: 1) Please note that if you want to assemble it at home, be sure to pick up two boxes (also, there are a LOT of wooden pieces in both, so they can be a bit heavy to pack around). 2) Its design is sturdy up top, flimsy below--once in place, DON'T move it. 3) The hardware that connects its many pieces together is a blend of secure and terrible. We had to move it three feet from the center of a room to the corner, and the miserable little cam-bolts and cam-locks couldn't take the pressure (even not dragging it). Again, the top portion (hutch) of the unit is solid-built, but the bottom is a joke. Build the unit as close to its destination corner as possible.ProsNCons
