Sturdy Enough For A Big Guy, Great For Kids
I weigh close to 300 lbs, sure I could use to lose some weight, but it also make me an ideal air bed tester. I'm filling the bed it right now. Setup is as easy as you could imagine since it has a built-in pump and AC cord. They're not kidding when they say it's 24" high, this is the tallest air bed I've ever seen. The bed is covered in a "flock-like" material. It's nicer than plain vinyl. The edges of the bed give a lot, but as soon as you are fully on the bed it's firm and supportive. I got this as an extra bed for when family visits. I think they'll be fine with it. I would be.

huge bubble on top of mattress, very disappointing
just inflated, and there is a huge bubble on top of the mattress where it is very uncomfortable for any sleeping position. very disappointing for such a pricy air bed.

    best height option for airbed
it's bigger than you think! this is my full time bed, queen size. it only took a few minutes to inflate with the pump that's in the bed. I also have a 4" memory foam topper on top, so I feel like a Queen when I'm on it!

    Love these beds
Love the 24 " Intex airbed mattress. We own 2 of the 24" and one shorter 16 inch with built in pillow. The lower one is harder to get up from and the built in pillow is not comfortable. We use the mattresses for 1-2 week periods at mom's house and in a guest room at home. I feel they are a bit too firm so we have a foam mattress topper on our home one and a lofty mattress pad on the other. Everyone who uses the beds sleeps great and none of the mattresses have lost function after a couple years. I use deep pocket sheets and use to use binder clips to attach the blankets to the sheets. Then I discovered the bed "headbands". (ie Better Bedder, and Bed Sheet Holder) to tuck the sheets and blankets into and this works great. I really like the looks of the navy blue band which was less expensive but the white one is the sturdiest. When I put the bed spread on, it looks very much like a regular bed.

    Beware
Bed was comfortable the first day , but the second day it busted at the seams and of course customer service is so bad that I couldn’t get anyone on the phone after 30 minutes of waiting. I put a good arch on it and hope it will work.

    V1ery comfortable while it lasted
Lasted longer than I expected. Bought it in July of 2021 and the air is just starting to slowly leak out in Feb. 2022. (7 months). I didn't expect it to last that long. I still sleep on it, I just add a little more air once a week. it's been very comfortable for me and I have back problems due to Parkinson's disease.

    So Comfy
This is a superior product! This mattress inflates quickly to a bed height, which is great for my husband. He hates getting off a low air mattress when we camp. This mattress is so comfortable. It doesn't lose lots of air through the night like most do, so we were both comfortable all night. The mattress is also larger than expected, which may not thrill everyone, but I am happy. The mattress fits nicely in a typically sized 4 person tent with no room to spare. After a good night's sleep, deflating and folding it is so quick and easy. The mattress was simple to place right in the included storage bag. It even folded up so well that I was able to put the mattress (in the storage bag) right back into the retail box to keep the bag clean for extended storage in my garage. Any other mattress may be okay for camping, but this one makes it GLAMPING! Oh, the mattress is also perfect to use to stage a bedroom. It looks like a real bed with a few bedding tricks.

Tall enough for transfer from a wheelchair!
As a wheelchair user, I face physical barriers and obstacles every day.  Even when visiting friends or family I have to deal with stairs, narrow doorways, and inaccessible toilets.  And if it's a weekend visit, the problems are even worse.  Many beds are either too low or too high for me to easily and safely transfer to and from.  This is woefully the case even in many so-called wheelchair-accessible hotel rooms!  So I was delighted to learn that Intex makes an inflatable air mattress that is a whopping 24 inches high.!  That's a perfect height for a transfer from my wheelchair, making all kinds of travel so much more possible for me. The air mattress I received arrived well packed in a carrying bag, a product box, and a thick shipping box.  I thought I had requested the Queen size, but a Full size mattress arrived, which is actually better if it is intended to be used for traveling, as it will fit into more odd rooms or awkward spaces, but is still large enough to accommodate two bodies.  Once I unrolled the mattress, I plugged it in.  The power cord is stored in a compartment in the body of the built-in air pump.  It is so convenient to have the pump built into the mattress!  No accidentally forgetting it, no needing to store two things together, etc.  It's all right there in the single carry bag.  Inflation is a little bit loud, but isn't too loud to speak over, and it only takes just about five minutes or so to reach full inflation.  Turning the valve when you're finished inflating prevents air from leaking back out, so when you wake in the morning, the mattress is as full as it was when you went to sleep. As a mattress, it is really high and easy for me to transfer to from my wheelchair.  At 24 inches,  it hits my husband just a little below mid-thigh.  It is comfortable to lie on, believe it or not, and it stays firm.  We haven't slept on it throughout a whole night yet, but we jumped around a bit on it and cuddled up and noticed no dipping or mooshing.  It seems to stay as firm as a regular mattress.  It really is firm enough to use as a regular mattress for everyday (or night) use!  The top is also very soft to the touch and there are pillowy side channels that are soft and pliable, making it very comfy for a night's sleep. My biggest complaint about this air mattress is that there is no guidance as to how much air you should put in it.  The instructions simply mention "...[w]hen the airbed is fully inflated...", but don't say how you will KNOW it is fully inflated!  I hoped the pump might have some automatic shut-off feature, but it does not seem to have that technology.  I just filled it until I thought it was full and hoped for the best.  I guess it could burst if you were to overfill it, and I really hope I never have to find out.  It DOES come with a small patch, just in case there is a small, localized puncture.  Unfortunately, I had to figure out on my own that this was a repair patch, as it isn't labeled or otherwise clear what it is.  All in all, the improvements I could see this product needs have more to do with communication and the user manual than with the air mattress itself. Overall, I love my new Intex Dream Lux Pillow Top Dura-Beam air mattress!  It will be wonderful to have when we have a house full of visitors, as it's super easy to inflate and set up almost anywhere, and it will be even more appreciated when WE are the company, visiting others.  I can't believe there's an inflatable bed that is tall enough for me to get in and out of easily and on my own, let alone that it's comfortable and easy to inflate and deflate, too!  I enthusiastically recommend this air mattress!

    Super comfortable high quality airbed!!!
This is by far the best air mattress I've ever owned. First and most importantly, it is extremely comfortable. You don't sink into the mattress like with others. This air mattress is a dura-beam deluxe high rise pillow top. The dimensions are 54in x 75in x 24in. It sits about the same height as a bed, nice and high making it easy to get in and out of. This mattress comes with a super easy internal pump. The cord is placed in a nice little area next to the pump which is very convenient. You simply turn the pump on and turn to one side for inflation and the other to deflate. Nice and easy. This mattress doesn't lose air like most do by the time morning rolls around. It holds in the air very well. This aired comes with a really nice carrying bag for traveling or storing. My family and I highly recommend this air bed and are so pleased with it. My son said it felt more comfortable than his own bed!!

Fast, Easy Setup and SO Comfortable!
This Intex 24 Dream Lux Pillow Top Airbed is AMAZING! Having the electric pump built in is so nice, just plug it into the wall and turn to either inflate or deflate. I was surprised that it only took a few minutes to fill/empty the entire bed, the pump is powerful! I love that the bed is 24" high, so it is really easy to get in and out of, and is extremely comfy! It's also very durable, my 60 pound dog gets on and it holds up great. Awesome bed all around, definitely recommend!

    Wow!
Highly impressed with this air mattress. I was not expecting such a great experience. This air mattress is giant if you can look at the picture that I am including with this review you will see that it's as tall as my love seat. Although there is an option for manual blowing, I used electricity as there's a cord on the back of the air mattress. When using the electrical cord the air mattress blows up really quickly. Awesome sleep experience. The bed is soft and comfortable when it's at its fullest. As the air slowly leaves the mattress, over several days, it becomes a big shaky but still a good sleep.

    Excellent Air Matteress
The full sized Intex 24 Dream Lux Pillow atop Dura-Beam is the best air mattress we have tried. I love that it is the height of a normal bed, so it is very easy to get up and down from. The height also makes it an excellent option for home staging a bedroom when selling a house. It is big and sturdy, with thick durable walls, with a soft, velvety top that prevents your sheets from slipping. The internal pump is the best invention ever. This one works quickly and efficiently. It pumped the entire bed up tight as a drum in under three minutes. Our previous air mattress had a block style battery that had to be charged before you placed it in to the pump on the air mattress itself, before you could inflate. That was a pain because you always had to plan ahead and let it build up a charge before you could use it. The Intex 24, however, has a really smart little trap door right beside the pump that stores the cord. Plug it in, and turn it on, and away you go. The bed did not come with any instructions, and although it is very simple, integrated, and intuitive, I still had a small problem finding the on switch (I was sitting on the floor looking at the pump from the front, not above). There is a big dial on the front with a viewing window area on top. In the middle position there is the on/off switch. Turn it to the right and it locks in place to inflate (+ in the viewing window). Turn to the middle position when inflated to your liking. Turn to the left to deflate (- in viewing window). It deflates quickly as well. I didn't really notice a "pillow top" effect, but it is very comfortable. Throw a gel foam pad on top, and you would think you were sleeping on a normal mattress. Very good quality, would highly re on end.

This is a GREAT air mattress
This is the best air mattress I have ever slept on. First and foremost, it is basically the height of a regular bed. The height was nice because I could easily get in and out of bed. Second, this was the first air mattress that did not significantly deflate throughout the night. Most times, my husband and I end up folded together in the middle by morning. We have slept on almost every brand airbed, and they all end up the same. The pictures I included were from the next morning. As you can see, there was virtually no deflating, and that to me is amazing. Third, the bed is firm. I prefer a firm air mattress for my back, so I thought the support was great. Fourth, the bed is huge. I got a king. My husband is 6'5" and 190, and I am 5'6" and 190. We are both larger, and we had plenty of room to spread out. The only negative with the large size could be storage, which is not an issue for me because I have plenty of space in my garage. However, we use airbeds when we stay with my inlaws in their RV, and as much as I would love to use this bed, it would be much too large. Also, storing it in the RV would take up a ton of room. I may buy a queen to use when we are with them because this mattress is really nice. Overall, this is by far the best air mattress I have ever slept on.

Good for an extra sleeping space temporarily
I have we used quite a few inflatable mattresses. I don't know why most are not very durable. I had a queen size that had a leak after one use. I'm sure it is the seams that leak., and not a hole. This is a nice mattress and I use it camping for guest in an Rv. It inflates very well and if you don't want it so firm , just adjust the air. It is a breeze compared to having to blow up And squeeze air out the way we use to do. I inflates and deflates with the push of a button. The weight limit is 600 pounds... which I have not had on it. I would have liked for the cord to be a little longer. I would recommend this air bed.

    Nice Workmanship and Quality
I trust Intex Products for their durability and structure. This Airbed is a about 4 inches too tall for my liking. With air filled to max it is a bit boggy when sitting on the left side (facing the head of the bed) the right side which has the Intex logo on it is a bit puffed out and is a more firm at the edge when you are in the sitting position. At first I thought the mattress was too firm. I took a nap on this mattress about 4 hours to try it out. In the side lying position while hugging my second pillow, I must confess, the Intex 24 Dream Lux Pillow Top Dura-Beam Airbed Mattress became really comfortable. My body gradually adjusted to that firmness and support. I tried laying about a foot from each side, and then in the middle, without any change in support. I have no doubt that it would support 2 adults without difficulty. The top is made of a thick velour-ish fabric. The pump located at the head of the mattress is great and can inflate or deflate the mattress in about 6-8 minutes. The photo I made shows the height compared to an oversized recliner. Because of the height, this would be ideal for an elderly person who is 5ft 4 inches or more and has difficulty getting up and down. For frail elderly, I would suggest putting this atop a non slip rug gripper for extra safety from it slipping instead of a bare floor. If you need a mattress this tall get it. I just prefer the 22 inch or less. I also didn't understand why they made the left side to be not as supportive in the sitting position as the right side.

2 feet tall, quiet built in pump
Easy to inflate, and super quiet compared to other built in pumps I've had from Intex and other brands. After opening the cover to the compartment that houses the pump motor, and 4 feet electric cord, there's a knob that has to be turned clockwise to expose the toggle switch. Click on the switch and turn the knob clockwise again. I pumped the bed to its full 2-feet height, which was higher than my sofa's seat height. This makes it easier to sit down on the bed before reclining, but be aware that the edges, although bolstered with a slight rim, doesn't hold up the weight of a grown adult over 150 lbs. I'm 120 and it didn't buckle under my weight, so just don't sit on the edge to put on your shoes. It's perfect for accommodating an overnight guest in a pinch, and should fit back into the included storage bag with handles.

    TOTALLY AWESOME
I am totally impressed with this air bed. I had my doubts when it arrived but I am surprisingly shocked. It is made of very good quality material. Plugged in the pump and it took 3 to 4 minutes to fully inflate and was very comfortable to lie on. It took 4 to 5 minutes to deflate but the pump completely deflated it flat making it easy to fold and return to the storage bag that was included. Now all 6 of my grandchildren have a good bed to sleep on when they come to Nana’s house.
