Very good bass for the price, DIY friendly install
Best budget subwoofer kit. I love how its all in one and it includes the amp built-in. This brought my car audio system to life. Very easy install with purchase of wiring kit. The hardest part was literally removing the trim. When cranked all the way up it literally rattles the entire car. Only had overheating issues once during a hot 2 hour drive with the bass turned up. The only dislike is the mounting hardware. I went and bought better hardware for cheap. Also, I wish it came with a remote/dash bass control.

it's exactly what it stated it is it's not something designed to blow your windows out but it definitely gave me the base that I was looking for to even out my stereo in my car

    Best purchased in store.
I have three in various vehicles, they do the job and have held up well. Be aware there are two versions of this and both have the same SKU number. If you are ordering 2 or more they will likely be picked at random. One has a coned sub with grille and the other is a dish style sub. They both have the same specs but if you are looking for a matched pair, buy in store.

    ⭐️⭐️⭐️Highly Recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️
I originally bought a Kicker sub for $200 to have installed in my 2017 Buick Encore, and was told by the installer about the Dual TBX10A and how it was less expensive. I was also told about how good it would sound in my car and that it was over $100 cheaper. After much thought and trusting the installer (who had done a lot of work for me) I decided to return the Kicker Sub and buy the Dual TBX10A. Once the Dual TBX10A was installed I was amazed at how good it sounded in my car. Its got a great sound and an awesome bass hit to it. I highly recommend this sub to anyone that is wanting more bass and thump to their system. One of my best purchases Ive made!!!

    DO NOT BUY!!!
Bought 2 weeks ago in the local walmart store and it doesn't include a amp wiring kit so you need to buy that separately. So I hooked it up and used it for a week and it worked good an sounded alright but then it just stopped working and now it just keeps blowing the fuse and then when I go to return it with a receipt customer service doesn't wanna give me my money back because the serial number sticker on the side of the amp got hot and bubbled up they thought I tampered with it I would not recommend do not buy and if you do get the extended warranty and hope the serial number sticker doesn't get hot like mine did and they try to refuse the return. You get what you pay for.
Likes are sound quality and ease of installation. You're better of setting this at 1/4 power and leaving it. Also I tried this in a 4 door P/U and that's entirely to much airspace and sounded very bad as i had to turn it up to max. In my 2 door 81 k20 P/U it sounds perfect.

    GREAT VALUE (lol)
This little sub is really great for the value. It does punch pretty hard with the right settings. You can't overdo it or else it won't last. I have the input level a little over halfway. I have the crossover at about 160Hz. I have the bass EQ at halfway. I've had it over a year and I've bought it used. most of the time used, I had it maxed out without knowing. Good sub. easy installation. (I have a loc hooked up to factory sub) but my review is based off of this, and before when it was all I had.

    Got the older TBX10A model
After reading reviews I decided not to buy this, UNTIL I seen the older model with silver grill. It seems that one lasts longer and withstands more than the newer model. I have had it for a few weeks, just haven't been able to connect it yet as it snapped and is cold outside even in my garage. I did buy the output converter bc my sync system doesn't come with amp outputs, I also got the amp kit, but I'm wondering if I need a new battery terminal. So yes, my first install, if this goes well, a second amp, And some subs for rear deck where they're openings for 6x8 but can be dremeled to accept 8" subs and some sound deadener I'm hoping I'll be good to go then! I can imagine the looks I'll get after all this is done as I get weird looks driving a 16 taurus being a younger guy, and now one that's got some thump, but anyways, I'll edit after I get installed!

    Newer Model Sucks.
This is Nothing like there older model with the silver grill. The New Model SUCKS. keepsoverheating and turning off. when it is on... it sounds junky. will not buy again. I have 3 of the older models and they are Great. Mustv'e change manufacturer or something. New Model on Left, Old Model on Right.

    Packs a punch but small...
This sub was purchased for a crew cab truck because of the space at first I thought it wasn't going to sound good the unit is very light and doesn't feel like much but once I hooked it up I was surprised with the bass you have to fine tune it for it not to go into protection and blow out the fuse but the sound quality for the price and coming from a 10 inch sub this I would definitely recommend if your on a budget and want to save space.

Great for those already compromising on everything
Grabbed while it was on sale, expected garbage but have been impressed.... This isn't for your 16yr old kid trying to knock down the block but perfect for the dad who is already having to compromise on everything in life already... And for you younger guys don't go setting the bass at Max it's never going to last.. you will smell a little voice coil but it's still breaking in... Instructions are trash but far from rocket science... I have attached pictures of the actual install as most fear ridicule obviously
