Excellent for WFH or Home Schooling
Setting up the desktop could not have been easier! It is literally a matter of plugging up the keyboard and mouse to the back of the display and then you're ready to go! Windows set up was a breeze. It took no more than 10 mins for me to be up and running and on the internet. I have a laptop with a core i5 processor, so I was skeptical about how the Celeron in this desktop would perform, but it's pretty snappy! Granted, I'm only using this desktop for basic tasks- internet, e-mail, docs, and multitasking between those things- but I didn't notice a major difference in booting up, opening apps, etc. with this desktop versus my laptop. The monitor is large and the display is great! The sound from the speakers is surprising nice and rich too. The keyboard is a bit on the lightweight side, but I found it easy to type on (and I'm used to typing on my laptop). Moving the unit around is super easy because everything is lightweight. Nor does it take up much space, so I would recommend this if you need an additional workstation at home and tight on space. You can set this up pretty much anywhere except on your lap, ha ha.

Better than a laptop
I received this HP 22 All in One Computer under the Walmart Spark Program because I am a literate person who writes interesting and compelling reviews of products that Walmart.com and Walmart stores carry. This computer is the desktop Chromebook with Windows. Does that make sense? It boots up quickly with the SSD Hard Drive. But it has Windows, not Google Android. Compared to other desktops, the hard drive is rather small. Compared to the typical Chromebook in this price range, the hard drive is large. Be advised: this is not the computer to store all your music and photos on. The Windows 10 operating system takes up about 20% of the hard drive capacity. This computer is a family computer. It has a large lovely display for watching videos and doing homework. It also has a DVD writer drive. You can watch DVDs on it if you want. The computer is crazy easy to set up and get running. There are 4 items in the box to connect: Display/computer, power cord, keyboard, and mouse. There are the typical HP “IKEA style” instructions with few words, just pictures. Ease of set up and installation should be the main selling point for this All in One Computer. I do not recommend this machine for editing videos. It was rather slow when I downloaded and then was editing various video files. I suspect the same would be true for the computer task of gaming. But I am not a gamer, so I can not say for sure. Look at the picture of the back of the computer that I have attached to this review. This is a drawback to the simple machine. There are not many ports to install other things beyond the keyboard and mouse. A printer and an external back up drive would fill it up. There is a network port if you want to hardwire the internet to this computer. But the computer also uses WI-fi. Again it seems like the Desktop version of a Chromebook. Yes, there is a built-in webcam that you can open and close. For those who wear tin foil helmets, you can still use this machine by keeping the webcam on top of the display closed. Who remembers WYSIWYG? “What you see is what you get.” This computer is not expandable. You can not add RAM or alter internal hardware. I think the only additional hardware changes you could do would be to buy a wireless mouse and or a wireless keyboard. In conclusion, this is a nice all in one that fits between a laptop and a desktop. It is for watching videos and doing school work; not for editing your YouTube videos. The HD display is beautiful. The processor is quick for most tasks. Turn it on and it boots up quickly due to the SSD. You can buy this feature-packed all in one and satisfy most of your computing needs within the boundaries I have mentioned.

    Absolutely LOVE this desktop hybrid!!!!!
This is one of the best machines I have ever owned! I am so impressed with the speed and smooth application transitions across the board. The design is very sleek, easy to set up, and affordable. For the price I would highly recommend this model to students and professionals alike.

Very nice all in one, super space saving.
This is a really nice all in one with excellent color and sound. I've had two or three laptops in the past say 8 years, that just do not last long anymore (cheaply made) so I decided to go back to a regular computer. This HP all in one is actually better than a $200 more expensive HP all in one version that one of the big chain electronic stores has--that I got first and returned. This one has the optical drive (which the one at the elec. store didn't have), a regular full sized keyboard (great/didn't want a tiny one) and full size mouse, and the slots on the are better for my needs (Usb,etc). It has 1)audio out (headphone/audio in) combo jack, RJ-45 (network jack), HDMI out port, USB port, USB super speed ports (2). Everything comes you need comes in the box to connect it up... you don't have to buy anything else. The pop up camera is good and the time I used it with skype, it was fine (color). I've thoroughly enjoyed it and this is in the corner of my dining room---there is zero clutter with it. My "years old" wifi printer works flawlessly with it. On that note, this computer is set up clear across my house from my wifi box and it picks up wifi great. The speakers on this computer are loud enough to play movies or hear music on youtube, etc. easily. I hook up my wireless mouse to this computer and sit at the table across the room and am able to control it easily and play youtube, etc. while I am at the table working on a puzzle or something. Programs load up speedily and it's really snappy and fast for the money and faster than the last laptop I had. My son who is a computer major at school said for the money spent and the screen size of the monitor, that right was a good deal since computers have gone up so much in covid and parts are hard to come by. Would he use this everyday for his heavy computer classes/needs? No, but for me it is just perfect. All I do is look at websites/new sites/shopping/email/save pictures, etc. and occasionally type up something (put a free office program on it). I just got tired of buying a laptop that would die in two years and having to constantly charge a laptop. I have had my last laptop I think. And, I bought this little wood table from Walmart, too. It's called "International Concepts 1-Shelf Mission Computer Stand, Unfinished". For traveling, etc. I bought a 11 inch chromebook for my needs (cheap) and am just using this computer for now at the house as my main computer. This is a great value and a great deal for the money. I'm super pleased and will buy an HP all in one again. This one having the slot I can play my old cd's on is fabulous..... husband and I put in a cd in it the other day to listen to. I wish all computers came with bells and whistles like they used to. This is a great bargain.

    Great computer for low price
This PC has so many cool features like a monitor that can be tilted. Also a pop up camera, when not in use it tucks back into the monitor. A DVD player on the right side of the monitor. Then add in a quick setup time, mouse and keyboard and you are all set! For someone who just needs the basics like Facebook and simple games it's great

    WOW very Impressed
This HP All in one 22 inch diagonal monitor is beyond my expectations. It has a voice activation feature. It goes through every step with you to set up the computer. Setting it up and putting everything together was very easy. The hide away camera is awesome, I love that i do not have to have a post on my monitor. It is very fast with the windows 10. We are happy with it.

    Nice home desktop
Overall, this is a nice desktop for my casual home use (work, emails, general browsing, etc.). The keyboard and mouse that came with it did not seem very high of quality (in contrast to the desktop itself). However, it will be easy to hook up another laptop/mouse so it's not a huge issue. I'm glad it came with something though. For assembly, I was concerned it would be difficult since I'm not super tech savvy. However, the directions were SUPER easy to follow and assemble. It took under 10 minutes to set up and then the computer walked through how to set up the computer part. In about 15 minutes (including the 10 min assembly time) it was up and functional! The screen brightness was super high when I started but easy to adjust and figure out. I liked how you can adjust lots of things visually like the mouse size and color. I have been using a MacBook laptop for the last 8 years, but easily was able to maneuver and use this. It works great! I also LOVE that the webcam can come up or slide down for privacy. I usually tape the camera and then take the tape off if/when I want to use the camera—so this saves all that hassle. Overall, I am very pleased with this. I likely will be replacing the keyboard and mouse for a wireless option and will use the ones they provided as a “back up”. Desktop images are clear, sound and microphone work well, everything is on par with product description. Easy to set up and use and great for my home office!

    Great innovative idea!
I love this cross between laptop and desktop. I always have difficulty finding a place to put a computer tower. Laptops are ok but the screens are small. I have limited space but no need to move the computer from room to room. The idea of the nice sized monitor with the pc inside is awesome! My kids are younger and have been doing school on their notebooks which have tiny screens. I also love the built in pop up web cam. You can be sure it is off when you think it is, but it is there when you need it for video meetings etc. So far it seems to have adequate processing speed for our use. I am very pleased with this computer.

Astounding screen quality, fast drive, great deal!
I've been doing graphic design professionally till recently and I was astounded when I saw the screen quality of this computer. It is matte with zero glare and the colors and contrast are perfect. There is no flickering and the picture is crystal clear from each angle. We used to own 8 different laptop and desktop computers through the years and this is truly the best computer screen I've ever seen in person. I wish I had it when I was still doing graphic design! Some other features that I like: It has WiFi and ethernet port, very convenient to have both. It is light and easy to move around. Very easy access to ports on the back. 4 USB ports, audio port, HDMI port, SD port underneath the screen, DVD slot on the side. Camera slides in and out, so you don't have to worry about privacy when you don't use it. High quality camera picture. Speakers sound loud and good. We installed World of Warcraft game (with lots of 3D graphic) and the memory, processor and video card perform great even through WiFi. No lag! The mouse and keyboard are a bit old fashioned but the location of volume and brightness buttons on the keyboard is great and they actually work! I always had problems with my previous keyboards. I recommend the white color keyboard especially to people with poor eyesight. It is so much easier to read the buttons than on the black keyboard. I never knew that until now. The computer came almost without any pre-installed junk on it. Just very few, mostly useful apps, easy to remove. I'm trying to think of something negative about this computer but I can't. It is just perfect.

This is a very nice and sleek looking pc that should handle any basic computer needs. Setup was very easy and took about 10 minutes before i had it up and running. You will be walked through the setup once you have it set up and turned on. It doesn't take up a lot of room so it should fit well on even small desks and It is very portable if you have a need to move it around. It comes loaded with windows 10 and 1 stick of 4 gb of ram but only 256 gb ssd hard drive. However if you do need more space one option would be an external hard drive which are very cheap and simple to add on. It comes with a pop up camera if you have a need for one.The mouse and keyboard are full sized which is great in my opinion. It also has ultra high def graphics for those who want to maybe watch a movie on this item. You also have a dvd reader / writer so you can plug in your favorite movies or burn some files to dvd to keep safe. Overall a solid pc which should be good for any needs except maybe intense gaming.

    Very Nice Computer
This computer uses the Intel Celeron G5900T CPU with 4 GB installed RAM. It's a 64 bit operating system. No touch screen. I give it 5 stars because for what it's designed to do, it does very well. If you are into heavy 3D graphics as I was before I retired, this will fall short. It's perfect for the average user. Clean and compact unit all built into the monitor. It cruises the internet flawlessly. The WiFi and Bluetooth work perfectly and setup was simple. The picture is excellent. The built in speakers are better than a laptop. I'd say average. As with most built in speakers, they sound a little tinny playing music. I use external speakers. It runs my programs quickly, without lag. If your looking for a nice computer for the kids or your own general use, this one will do the job.

    Simply Blown away
This is my first all in one computer. I am basing my review coming from an Acer Swift 1 laptop and 4 year old 3ghz dual core Pentium with a standard HHD desktop . I have to tell you, I am blown away by this computer. I figured a 3.2ghz dual core Celeron with only 4gb of ram was going to be an entry level model. But I was wrong. This thing is speedy in so many areas. It's speedy in starting up. It's speedy in downloading and installing updates. It's speedy in browsing. It's speedy in doing more than one or two things at the same time. I had 20 tabs open in Chrome and the thing didn't miss a beat. It lets you do things just as fast when it's installing updates you'd never know it was installing them. I think most of it has to do with the SSD drive. And whatever they are doing with computers these days to make them so fast is beyond me. I installed MS flight simulator 2004 and while yes it's an old game, it use to take quite a while to install this game on other computers I've had as it's a 7gb game. But this installed in about 10 minutes. Amazing!! I was able to run the game with all settings turned up to 10. I am also using this as a Plex media server. Usually when you install it and have it scan your libraries you pretty much can't do anything else. But on this one I was able to browse and do other things with no problem at all. It will serve videos and won't bog down your computer for other things. I'm in love with this thing. The screen is huge. 21.5 inch IPS display. Full 1080p. 4k would have been nice but hey, you'll have to spend more for that. Colors are great. Viewing angles are good, maybe not as great as TVs these days but still great. The screen is matte not glossy, thank you HP. There is a pop up webcam at the top which is great for privacy. I find it a little difficult to pop up. It would have been better to have it spring loaded to pop up easier. DVD writer? Seriously do we need a DVD drive at all? Why waste space and money for this? It's a dinosaur, just another thing to break. That being said I did try it and it does work. HP included DVD software for it. The speakers are loud. Almost too loud. Could use a bit more bass. Way better than laptop top speakers which surprised me because the specs said 2 watts. You have 2 USB 2.0 and 2 USB 3.1 ports on the back. Why no USB-C port? It is 2020. No matter I did try a a WD 3.1 drive with it and a portable USB 3.1 SSD drive and it's super fast. Also on the back is the power insert, HDMI out, LAN and headphone jack. Underneath is a card slot. They keyboard and mouse work fine. I like the red glow of the mouse while it sleeps. Not a fan of the keyboard buttons but maybe I just have to get use to them coming from a laptop. It actually works quite well as I type this. Nice having a dedicated number pad again and volume and sleep buttons are logically placed. It comes with HPs usual bloatware of Wild Tangent games and Mcaffe trial antivirus. But it's easy enough to uninstall. Other Hp software is installed such as HP jump starts and HP audio center and diagnostic software, but I've decided to keep them as they don't get it the way and some you will even need. You can do a clean install if you truly want a bloatware free computer. I received this computer free in exchange for writing a review. That being said, if I was in the market for an all in one I wouldn't hesitate recommending this computer. If it was junk I would straight up tell you that. But it's not. It's decent and well worth the money. This would be great for a student learning from home or someone working from home remotely. Zoom works great. Maybe if you are doing hard core video editing or the like do you need something faster. In the end what this has shown me is that I need a new laptop now :)

nice, compact, super quick and easy setup!!!
This is my first time using an all in one computer. If you are unfamiliar with these (as I was), It's basically a full size computer, but without the tower. The entire pc consists of just 3 pieces -- the monitor, the keyboard and the mouse (and the power supply to power it) Its also similar to a laptop but without the need for battery packs. Out of the box, I had the computer hooked up in 3 minutes. It's extremely simple, since you just plug the power supply into the back of the monitor, then also plug the keyboard and mouse into the back of the monitor and you are all done. Pressing the "power on" key on the side of the monitor Cortana comes on and talks/walks you through setting up internet/wifi, and registering the product, etc. This part took about 5 minutes. It looks very nice and the monitor display is very good. This computer would be great for a travel computer, or if you were staying for friends or family for a bit of time and wanted your own pc there. With this, there's no battery packs to worry about like you'd have to have with a laptop. I'd say for most people this pc would be great. The only people I dont see this working for would be those who need a high end graphics card for gaming. or someone who does a lot of "resource hog" stuff like video file conversion and things such as that. For things that use a lot of processor, it would work, but it would be on the slow side. But for the general person, this is an awesome computer, and very travel friendly. I would definitely recommend to friends and family. I like that I would even be able to recommend to my grandma --- even she could set this pc up (all by herself!!!) Really nice pc!!! I've enclosed a pic of the pc that I quickly set up on my kitchen table (the screensaver was actually transferred automatically from my existing pc, and not the standard screensaver that you will see for your pc).
