    Sharp writing. Funny, but also makes a good point. Characters are nicely evolved. Was recommended to me and I will certainly recommend to others.

    Get one for you and one for your girlfriend!
    While the story is set 50 years ago, I suspect that the plight of women scientists, girls who are too smart and haven't learned to quite dumb it down to please the men and boys around them continues today. I love the characters for the unexpected turns in jobs that ultimately brought success. The dog's comments made me laugh. I could visualize so many parts of the book almost as if I were reading subtitles in a theater.
