Dr Suess is still the greatest in kid's books
I read these for the first time over 50 years ago. Now I tutor first graders in reading and they love these books. Some off the books in this set are great for first graders and some, like The Sneetches may be better for a second grader. The Sneetches is the best book I have ever read on racism. It should be required reading for the human race. Long live Dr. Suess.

    I remember these books from when I was a small child, so I thought they would be perfect for my toddlers, who are stuck at home during this COVID-19 quarantine. And I was right. The books are a success. My daughter loves them, we've read them every day and she hasn't minded that they are the same six books. I think she just likes to see her mom get tongue tied on some of the rhymes.
