defected item
I have the dining table from the same brand, so I purchased 2 sets of dining chairs on top of a bookshelf . Ending up two of three purchase are defected items. The chairs are coming with uneven legs. After I assembly it, two chairs are wobbling, so I request chair leg replacement. But the CS said they cannot do so, they have to send me the whole replacement, ok, I accpeted it. It arrived in 10 days, I felt very frustrated after opening the replacement package. The color is not the same, please see picture. I had to returned them to Walmart because the color is not matching with my dining chair and table. That is it, my last purchase from Walmart.

    Bad quality control and poor customer service
    It is solid wood, which is better than the engineered composite wood. However, the quality control of these chairs is terrible. One of the seat boards I received has a long and deep crack on it, which is a defective material/part used in the factory (they are made in Vietnam, in case you wonder). In addition, the pre-drilled holes on the seat board are not well aligned to those on the seat frame. I very like the style and solid wood of these chairs, but the craftmanship and QC are just poor. I tried to submit a customer service ticket on the company's website according to the instruction booklet, every time the website says "One or more fields have an error. Please check and try again", but it never tells you which part is wrong, very frustrating. I will make a phone call tomorrow during their office time, which is weekday only, to request a replacement part. Otherwise, I have to return it. I don't think I can recommend this, given the hassles I have to go through.

    Very happy with purchase and delivery
    Really nice quality and very easy to assemble. I ended up buying the matching table and bench - complete set for $350. Picture doesn't show the bench as it hasn't arrived yet.

    Good Quality Chairs
    Quality of chairs are very good. The legs are bolted down. The back is screwed down. The chairs are heavy and should last, because they is not glued together. The chairs are real wood.

    Great chairs!
    Needed a couple more chairs since we have a bigger table now. Originally we had the Bankston Dining table with 4 chairs and bench that we bought 8 years ago. We've since gotten rid of the table and the bench had broke 3-4 years ago but we've been really happy with the chairs! The new ones that came in look almost the exact same, just a bit darker. But who's to say our old ones haven't lightened up a bit with age. And you can hardly tell the color difference. They seem to be the same quality. We've been pleased with them through the years, so I'm happy to now have 6 matching chairs. I will be ordering 2 more when it's time to replace the high chairs around the table!

    Good and Bad
    Chairs are well built easy to assemble. On the negative side package was water damaged and several parts were stuck to cardboard and mildewed.

    Pleased As Punch!
    Love the style, the size, the quality, the great instructions for putting them together, and of course the price. These chairs are a winner. I am looking for cushions for them because the seats are solid wood. But they are a perfect fit for my table. I think whoever designed them should get an award. And whoever built them also. Thank you to all involved.
