Excellent value for Money.
Have been using this for 3 months and have ridden 600km so far.
Pros:
1. Comfortable for long ride
2. Sturdy and rugged build.
3. Lots of accessories compatible.
Cons
1. Rim brakes make a lot of noise and Rim looses paint. Post adjustment of brakes still brake noise is too loud. Even changing brake shoe did not help.
2. Cannot be upgraded much. Can only convert front wheel to disc brake however need to replace rim as well.
3. Twist shifters not very accurate, would advice to convert to Thumb shifters. Any compatible thumb shifters help.
4. Anyone looking to buy this for long term use, would recommend to invest more and buy the next version rockrider st 520 since they already come with disc brake and thumb shifters.
However for the price still a very good product.

Not so good.
I bought this bike thinking it was a mountain bike and intended for uneven surfaces. The bike fell and breaks broke. Feels like made of cheap metal. Also, thought it had shock absorber but it did not.

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/28/2022Overall a great bike for the moneyOverall a great bike for the money. A few things that is not so great: 1. the seat angle is not adjustable as that part is welded with the seat post. Need a replacement seat post if the angle is not right for you. 2. the suspension stiffness is not adjustable though the description says it is adjustable. 3. the front derailleur is difficult to adjust to ideal positions. For the bike I received, initially it cannot make it to dear 3 (hi speed gear). After adjustment, all 3 gears are usable, but at gear 3 is achieved between shifter 2 and 3. Switching is to 3 will make the chain off. Maybe further adjustment can fix this. What I like about the bike: aluminum frame -- lighter weight, V breaks -- though the trend is disc breaks, but I prefer V breaks as it is much easier to maintain and I dont ride in rain. short and curved handle bar -- more comfortable for me. For 198, this is a great value bike.Dave

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/23/2022Highly RecommendThe bike came in a box believe it or not. Delivered to my house in 1day after a shipping glitch. Customer service was awesome! We had to connect the steering bar, foot pedals, and front tire. Very easy . A friend helped me adjust the brakes. The bike is everything I expected! Rides great, gears shift nicely. I would highly recommend this bike. I've been out 5 or 6 times on 4 mile rides!scottI

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/12/2022Great value for a great quality road bike. The RC120 is a high quality bike at a great price point. This bike feels way more expensive than it is and it's a surprise that Walmart sells these. It has just the right selection of components and geometry to make it a super quick, comfortable everyday rider. I was so impressed with the bike that I parked my other road bike and purchased a second RC120 with flat bars. I would recommend setting the bike up with a qualified mechanic to make sure everything is functioning correctlyJG

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser06/25/2021Good bicycle but overall poor experienceBought this bicycle for my daughter. Upon delivery found out that bicycle does not come fitted with the stand. Another cheaper bicycle that i bought was fitted with the stand. Delivery guy told me to call the store. Found the chat option on the website and told to bring your cycle to the store and get stand fitted in $5. What a poor experience? Stand is basic for any bicycle and customers have to purchase it separately as $350 cycle will not come with stand and you have to spend 2-3 hours to go back to the store or again order online and wait for stand to arrive before you can park your cycle. My suggestion for Decathlon is to start including stand as part of bicycle and include it in the price or charge for it. I do not know of anyone who does not need a stand with the bicycle. Unfortunately, we've to now put the cycle on the ground until stand arrive or we get an opportunity to ride 10KM to the store to get stand fitted in.Mohit

2.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser06/09/2021Bike Falling ApartI made peace with the loud and squeaky brakes since it was new. But lately screws and components are falling apart. It is scary given the front wheel clamp broke and came off in the middle of a ride. Two screws have been lost previously from not so critical component which is why I did not have a strong motivation to post this. Additionally, the brake wires are rusty.Saurav

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser05/19/2021Bike is fine. But the gears are not.Overall the bike is pretty ok. But the gears are a problem. I can only shift the gear up 1 & 2. There is no way it can reach 3. Will Decathalon bike specialists be able to fix this?Michael

2.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser04/04/2021Doesn't hold up on basic trails.Bought this bike and took it out a few times on my local mountain biking trails in central Ohio with flat, easy terrain. Only lasted a couple rides before having problems with the front brake and rear derailleur. After fixing the issue I took it out one more time before having issues with the rear derailleur again and popping a tire riding on a paved trail. This bike has a decent frame and the suspension fork is nice for the price, but the rest of the components do not hold up. This bike is not built for any mountain biking trails.Nikolas
