Excellent value for Money.
Have been using this for 3 months and have ridden 600km so far. Pros: 1. Comfortable for long ride 2. Sturdy and rugged build. 3. Lots of accessories compatible. Cons 1. Rim brakes make a lot of noise and Rim looses paint. Post adjustment of brakes still brake noise is too loud. Even changing brake shoe did not help. 2. Cannot be upgraded much. Can only convert front wheel to disc brake however need to replace rim as well. 3. Twist shifters not very accurate, would advice to convert to Thumb shifters. Any compatible thumb shifters help. 4. Anyone looking to buy this for long term use, would recommend to invest more and buy the next version rockrider st 520 since they already come with disc brake and thumb shifters. However for the price still a very good product.

Not so good.
I bought this bike thinking it was a mountain bike and intended for uneven surfaces. The bike fell and breaks broke. Feels like made of cheap metal. Also, thought it had shock absorber but it did not.

Overall a great bike for the money
Overall a great bike for the money. A few things that is not so great: 1. the seat angle is not adjustable as that part is welded with the seat post. Need a replacement seat post if the angle is not right for you. 2. the suspension stiffness is not adjustable though the description says it is adjustable. 3. the front derailleur is difficult to adjust to ideal positions. For the bike I received, initially it cannot make it to dear 3 (hi speed gear). After adjustment, all 3 gears are usable, but at gear 3 is achieved between shifter 2 and 3. Switching is to 3 will make the chain off. Maybe further adjustment can fix this. What I like about the bike: aluminum frame -- lighter weight, V breaks -- though the trend is disc breaks, but I prefer V breaks as it is much easier to maintain and I dont ride in rain. short and curved handle bar -- more comfortable for me. For 198, this is a great value bike.

    Highly Recommend
The bike came in a box believe it or not. Delivered to my house in 1day after a shipping glitch. Customer service was awesome! We had to connect the steering bar, foot pedals, and front tire. Very easy . A friend helped me adjust the brakes. The bike is everything I expected! Rides great, gears shift nicely. I would highly recommend this bike. I've been out 5 or 6 times on 4 mile rides!

Great value for a great quality road bike.
The RC120 is a high quality bike at a great price point. This bike feels way more expensive than it is and it's a surprise that Walmart sells these. It has just the right selection of components and geometry to make it a super quick, comfortable everyday rider. I was so impressed with the bike that I parked my other road bike and purchased a second RC120 with flat bars. I would recommend setting the bike up with a qualified mechanic to make sure everything is functioning correctly

    $ but easy assembly
My wife bought for our son while I got the cheaper st50 as a set. On the more expensive end but inventory was low and has good reviews on other site. So far so good with easy assembly

Good bicycle but overall poor experience
Bought this bicycle for my daughter. Upon delivery found out that bicycle does not come fitted with the stand. Another cheaper bicycle that i bought was fitted with the stand. Delivery guy told me to call the store. Found the chat option on the website and told to bring your cycle to the store and get stand fitted in $5. What a poor experience? Stand is basic for any bicycle and customers have to purchase it separately as $350 cycle will not come with stand and you have to spend 2-3 hours to go back to the store or again order online and wait for stand to arrive before you can park your cycle. My suggestion for Decathlon is to start including stand as part of bicycle and include it in the price or charge for it. I do not know of anyone who does not need a stand with the bicycle. Unfortunately, we've to now put the cycle on the ground until stand arrive or we get an opportunity to ride 10KM to the store to get stand fitted in.

    Bike Falling Apart
I made peace with the loud and squeaky brakes since it was new. But lately screws and components are falling apart. It is scary given the front wheel clamp broke and came off in the middle of a ride. Two screws have been lost previously from not so critical component which is why I did not have a strong motivation to post this. Additionally, the brake wires are rusty.

Bike is fine. But the gears are not.
Overall the bike is pretty ok. But the gears are a problem. I can only shift the gear up 1 & 2. There is no way it can reach 3. Will Decathalon bike specialists be able to fix this?

Doesn't hold up on basic trails.
Bought this bike and took it out a few times on my local mountain biking trails in central Ohio with flat, easy terrain. Only lasted a couple rides before having problems with the front brake and rear derailleur. After fixing the issue I took it out one more time before having issues with the rear derailleur again and popping a tire riding on a paved trail. This bike has a decent frame and the suspension fork is nice for the price, but the rest of the components do not hold up. This bike is not built for any mountain biking trails.

    A special thanks to Ace
Stuffs are friendly and helpful. I purchased the bike with some accessories without knowing the rack I ordered isn't compatible with the child seat. I was disappointed because the compatible rack is out of stock. However, Ace is helpful enough to find a one at warehouse. I was thrilled. What a good customer service !!!

    Something I didn't expect
I went to Decathlon to shop for a bike. All I want is a bike where I can use for a light bike exercise around our subdivision. I got to the Decathlon branch expecting just buying a small, right for the wallet without much expectation in mind since I'm not doing it for hardcore activities. But as I went home and tried it. Geez! It is really amazing! It is comfortable and handy. Well, comfortable that you still experience the bumps and butt-aches. But overall, it was a good experience using this bike! And I have loved using it every day!

    Good bike and easy return/replacement.
This bake is very sturdy, looks and feels as good quality build bike. I bought it for my 15 y.o. son. He is 5.10" and we bought L size what fits him perfect. Put together was very easy as we used official video we find on YouTube. He really like this bike and was using it almost every day riding in neighborhood. Unfortunately one of the pedals start to fell and didn't want to stay in place so we return it. Return was easy and contactless. Walmart send shipping company to pick up bike outside the garage, they call us when arrived, took the bike and give receipt. As we didn't want to wait till Walmart receive bike and ship replacement (7-10 days) we order it again and get new one in 3 days. New one worked great and my son was using it till snowstorm hit our region. Now he can't wait to use it again.

Good entry level bike for all terrain cycling
I bought the bike to mainly ride through PCN, mud, road and also do long rides over 50km + . Satisfied with the performance of the bike i have driven 200+km overall since i bought it before a month. The drivetrain and brakes are good, front suspension was really helpful too. However i have some complaints also - The rear wheel alignment went off after first ride, so i had to do truing of spokes myself - There is no description of accessories provided with the bike, bell was already there but i ended up buying another. - The saddle was very small for me and XL size isn't available, so i had to change from outside shop

    Missing Parts
Nice bike, but very disappointing that the retainer to hold the wheel was missing. There are no assembly directions and the hardware is shipped loose in the box. That is why an essential piece was missing. We hired Handy, through Walmart, to assemble. The guy was great. Walmart is trying to make right. It was extremely disappointing to my grandson. We had to borrow a car to fit the bike and go to a bike store to purchase the part and a kick stand which is not included. Manufacturers should package the parts.

    Great bike
Easy to put together and quality build. The cost is a little higher than some bikes that are similar, but this is a well made and durable looking and feeling bike. I did a lot of research before I purchased and was able to get it a little cheaper through Walmart. Have been riding nearly everyday since it arrived. Great bike and would definitely recommend.

    Great bike for the Price!
My son loves the bike. It seemed easy to adjust to his size and he loves to ride it. It is his first bike with gears and they seem easy to operate. The bike came mostly assembled and was not very difficult to put together. However, We have one piece that i am still not sure where it was supposed to go. The directions were hard to find. They were buried in the manual about 2/3 of the way in. The directions were not very good and did not hep very much. It gave directions for setting up things that were already done(e.g. attaching brakes, setting up the shifting mechanism etc.) and did not address much of simple things like putting the quick release rod through the wheel to attach the front tire, or how to get the tire inside of the brakes.. It would be nice to have a pamphlet that just explains the things you have to do. In spite of that, it was easy to assemble and is fun to drive.

Came with a missing bolt. Can't attach front tire
The hub mechanism for the front tire came without the adjustment bolt. This mechanism was placed in the bike box, but not in a small container or bag or some sort. Hence it is easy for those parts to fell out the box (the bike box has 4 holes for handling). Now who knows where the bolt might've fell out, or if the bolt was even in the box to begin with. Bad packaging and delivery service. (and yes, the delivery was delayed).
