Cleans as Good as Noxema
The only advantage to the name brand is it comes out of the jar a bit softer. Both are cooling/soothing, and help to clear your sinuses a bit in the morning if you get a bit stuffy from central air in the cooler months. I've used it both in the morning before hopping in the shower, and at night before bed, and it's all a personal choice of when you prefer it. The name brand eucalyptus cold cream really isn't superior, and I typically only select that anymore when this one is out of stock. Initially I was skeptical as the name brand has a sensitive formula (and so have relatively sensitive skin) but I guess years of using eucalyptus cold cream has made my skin less sensitive to it, and I don't need to use a “sensitive formula” any more. If the smell of eucalyptus isn't something you enjoy, you may want to try a different type of cold cream or facial cleanser. But, if you LIKE Eucalyptus, this is a nice cool treat!

Not good
I bought this as a cheaper option for Noxema, and I usually like the equate products, but this is horrible. Smells bad and is chunky and clumpy. Sometimes you just have to buy the name brand...

    Great product
    Refreshing clean feeling right rinse. A little difficult to to scoop because the product has a solid consistency until it’s warm.would prefer a squeeze tube

    Similar enough to name brand at much better price
    This product works and feels very similar to the name brand face wash except that it isn’t quite as smooth. It kinda separates into a cream with small chunks that take a lot of lathering to dissolve. Overall, I still get the same tingling, cooling sensation and clean skin at a better price.

    Better than Noxzema
    I prefer this skin cleanser to Noxzema and it’s more affordable. It cleans off dirt, oil and makeup without drying skin or disrupting my skin barrier. At under $3 it’s a steal. Don’t hesitate to try it.

    Excellent product cheaper then name brand
    Just like the name brand except cheaper, cleans your face but doesn’t dry it out , I have sensitive skin and this leaves it clean and doesn’t irritate it .

    Works great!
    I used Noxzema when I was a teen, and now my own two teenagers use it. We all have oily, acne prone skin which this cleanser works great to keep clear and smooth. This store- brand version of Noxzema smells and works exactly the same, for a much better price. It also works great for sunburns! Highly recommend!
