I love it. even thougj i wanted the ryzems 5 but still love it. I deleted a few app and added some for my daughters and myself. I also love that it allows you to connect your phone to the laptop best part. I got it for school but other little humans invaded it. I really recommend this laptop.

Worst experience ever HP ENVY x360 15 -15-ed1047nr
I used to be an HP lover always. All my life I prefered and suggested HP laptops. I used to liked designs and performance. I live in Peru and most of time I bought my laptops when I travel to USA or Spain. Last time I bought an HP ENVY x360 15 -15-ed1047nr and the Laptop does not work well, It freeze anytime. I follow all the instructions to find a solution but I quit. I called to HP assistance In Peru and followed all the instructions of the tecnical support assitant. I tried several times. They didnt give me a good support or solution. I sent emails looking for support and Im really disapointed. Is supposed my laptop has a Global warranty but the assistance is the worst I ever know. They gave methis Number of attention: "5068576148" and promised to contact me again to helping me. Many days passed and nothing, I still with my problem.

    Highly recommend.
We use this computer for classwork but also just for life. The tablet mode makea it easy to use on the go. The touch screen is responsive. We really like the webcam kill switch and the speakers are really strong. To test them we played music through the computer while making dinner and had no issues hearing over all the sounds or the kitchen and kids. On top of that, having the finger print option is really handy to sign in quickly. It also has the 10 key! We haven't rrally had it long enough to find any major drawbacks. The processor is an i5.. we havent noticed any issues with speed, but we also keep eveything in the cloud. So there is nothing saved or installed on the device itself to slow it down.

good laptop but could be better
This laptop is great for day-to-day use. It is slim and sturdy, but a little bit heavy. It has many ports such as HDMI, USB, USB-C, etc so you can connect many peripherals. The Intel-i5 processor is powerful and is great for browsing and light gaming and the laptop itself is very responsive. However, my only problem is with the webcam and the microphone. The camera is very grainy and the microphone is somewhat low quality. I would not recommend this laptop for video conferencing or recording. Other than these problems, the rest of the laptop is great and the speakers are excellent.

    HP Envy
I have many HP products and continue to use them. This HP Envy X360 is extremely user friendly. If your new to using online technology. It has an easy set up and guidance is always right there when you need it. Just push the question mark on your keyboard. The HP Envy loads up extremely fast compared to any laptop I've had. It's definitely keeping up with our times with technology advancing. The main screen can be angled back to be used like a tablet with touch screen enabled. The camera has a switch kill , so no worries if someone were to try and hack your camera. You get many hours of use before you need to charge. It has a fingerprint scan type thing , so if you have unwanted users trying to access it, you can also use the password feature instead. I love all the bells and whistles on this one. It has everything you would want and more. I really can't complain about it. The laptop is a nice silver color with a futuristic HP logo. For those at home for public school nowadays ,due to the coronavirus ,will love the fact that the HP Envy x30 is actually Google Classroom compatible.

You can never go wrong with a HP Product and this laptop with Intel i5 processor is a great deal. Very easy setup and great battery life. First time using voice assistant for setup; was quick, easy and quite helpful. Silver case is good quality and 15 inch touch screen is Impressive. Comes with Windows 10 and has plenty of speed and memory to get the job done. Would highly recommend this laptop.

HP Envy FHD X360 15.6" notebook / tablet
The HP Envy 15.6” FHD X360 is a fantastic notebook / tablet. I've been using and building pc's since 1985 and designed networks for the military for many years, so you can imagine, I know a little about pc's. I currently have an HP (Xeon powered) Server as a primary machine and an HP secondary machine in the spare room and currently own 2 android tablets so I'm very familiar with windows and android operating systems. The HP envy can be used as either a notebook or tablet and has good internals for a machine at this price point. 8GB RAM (DDR4) and a 256GB SSD (fast boots), HDMI output, USB type A and type C, SD card reader, Bang and Olufsen audio, New 10th gen Core I5 (4 core / 8 thread) processor (operates at 1600MHz and Max frequency of 3900MHz with all cores / 4200 MHz 1 core), a great wide view camera (that can be turned off with a switch on the side of the machine), and Intel wifi 6 AX and bluetooth 5 and a fingerprint reader for added security. After doing a speed test over wifi on my home network, I achieved 481 Mbps down and 22.71 up. Pretty impressive speed for a notebook over wifi. When you first turn on the machine, you'll first notice the nice backlit keyboard (as seen in the pictures of attached to this review), then it steps you through all the setup of your wifi, windows and outlook accounts and within minutes you are up and running. I haven't been able to put this down since I got it. The display is crystal clear and the camera is surprisingly good. I love the versatility of this machine and the ability to use it as a nice big (15.6”) tablet with its touchscreen (over my 10.1” tablets) is just awesome. I've never been disappointed with HP (as you can tell by the number of HP machines I've had over the years) and I'm definitely not disappointed with the HP Envy. This is definitely my new daily machine when I don't feel like going into the office to use my big machine. For the price it's currently listed on walmart.com for, I would 100% recommend this machine for anyone who needs a high quality machine for a great price. For everything that comes in this machine, it is easily worth more than the price. It also comes in an AMD Ryzen and Intel Core I7 variant so you have some great options for a fantastic notebook / tablet. All in all I love this machine.

Good Quality, Light Weight, Easy Setup
*HP Envy x 360 Notebook* *First Glance* I must confess that the manufacturer's box is a really slick looking and well designed box. My new HP Envy x 360 was well packaged and looked like a grand prize waiting for me to pick it up and begin my new journey with my new touch screen 15.6” screen notebook 2-in-1. Its silver sleek and light box (< 3 pounds!) is much lighter than my older 2012 laptop, and it seems quite a bit faster than my old i5 processor. As soon as I turned it on, it was ready to go, and I was greeted by Cortana in a crisp and clear female voice to go through a few things to finish the set up. *Set Up Is Much Different Than I Expected* Cortana, the Artificial Intelligence that never really worked well for me on any other machine, actually worked for this simple start up, but I haven't used it for anything else, so maybe that's its limits. I'm not sure, but I must digress and continue on. When setup got to the part where it wanted my ISP email and password, it took me over two password changes to get it to accept my email address and password. However, I do think it may have been problems on my ISP's end because ever since this pandemic, our email server has been really lagging and overwhelmed. But the third password change was charmed! I finished up from there, and I was done with the set up, so it's really not as time consuming as long as you do not run into any trouble. *Notebook* As a light weight laptop, it's a faster version of my 2012 Aspire M With Fingerprint login that is super fast to allow me to login! I tried it out even though I was skeptical and do not trust new things like that and also put in a pass code as a backup, but as long as it works is my motto these days, I'm a new fan! It lets me into my machine instantaneously. You get this option each time the login pops up, so don't worry if you don't want do use the Fingerprint login. I was just being adventurous for my age. Included software is the HP Assistant that has many goodies inside to help keep your notebook running cleanly and smoothly and keep you up-to-date with drivers, check your warranties, fix and diagnose system problems, guided troubleshooting, shows specifications of your notebook, HP support cases requests, Windows security, Storage and Battery monitors, and checks for updates. This is one handy little package! For those that are using Google Classroom, this notebook is capable of using that; however, I am not going into that since I am not going to use that capability ever. I am noticing some downsides of this particular notebook but there are other better upgrades of the same HP Envy x 360 with higher CPUs and better video cards installed and more with bigger hard drives but with a higher price tag that would make a much better gaming machine for the average student who might want to play a game like Doom 2016. This Notebook is short the video RAM to play a game like that to my disappointment. For those that play mostly cheesy app based video games and less intense graphical games, you should be good. If you are trying to do some serious Photo-shop, get one with an i7 or i9 processor with a real video card in it with its own video memory. Also, get lots of notebook RAM too (no less than 16gb). A 1 Tera byte Solid State Hard Drive would be a must too. That is what I upgraded my old laptop to already. I noticed as I was poking around, if I stroked my finger from the Start button straight up the screen, I could see all things that I had previously done. That was a neat feature that must be in a latest update of Windows 10 that I can't seem to update in my older laptop. I try to update, then it won't let me, and I have to uninstall, then it wants to reinstall again, rinse, repeat. It's driving me crazy, and I don't know how to shut the silly thing off. Windows 10 is still fairly new to me, but the more I use it, the more I learn. After I was finished going over the quality and the pros and cons of what I could see on this notebook, I decided to check out the app side of things. I flipped the notebook and bent it at the middle, and it asked me if I wanted to switch to tablet mode. I selected “Yes”. *Tablet Mode* In tablet mode, I get a new menu, and everything is touch based. I can touch screen with the notebook mode too, but with this mode, the touch screen is even more accurate and faster. To get the keyboard to come up, at the bottom right of the screen to the left of the Date/Time, there is a keyboard icon. Touching the keyboard icon activates the keyboard for typing purposes. Press the X key to cancel the action. The table menu shows Productivity apps, Exploring apps, and other apps already installed on the notebook. I dove straight into setting up my old Spotify free account now I had a new music player where my old stereo use to be! It's also going to soon have my HBO Max showing me my shows I can't watch on my Roku because Roku isn't going to support it for some reason. So I can now use my other laptop for my nervous, mindless app gaming and the new one for watching movies or listening to music at the same time! Wonderful! There are so many things I can do with this combo. *Accessories I Will Probably Add* Optical Mouse - So I am really a desktop dinosaur junkie and can't get it out of my veins, so I really have to modify this portable stuff to my kind of living. I need my mouse, and I prefer a small (my hand is small) corded optical USB mouse. There is no substitution for grabbing and dropping with the precision with a mouse. USB Multi Port Hub - This notebook is USB port disadvantaged with its light and slim design, but that's not a problem with the numerous USB 4 to 20 port hubs that I have seen online. I have a 7 port hub for my old laptop. USB ports are always flaky anyway, and I have to swap them around periodically anyway. Laptop Coolant Pad - If I use this in notebook mode for any length of time, I would definitely want a coolant pad to keep it from getting too hot. It will also extend the life of the notebook. Speakers - The built in speakers are a bit on the treble side and a bit boxy sounding. I bought a pair of cheap USB speakers (I got lucky) that had great sound for my old laptop that I absolutely love, and they sound great compared to the on board speaker sound. I would highly recommend this type of setup to make any bedroom, office/living room, or where ever you do your thing with your HP Envy x 360 to get the most enjoyment and comfort of your lifestyle. *Conclusion* I would recommend this product with my minor changes to the actual system configuration to ensure that you can do from the basic things to the broader things a database designer to the photo-shop person to the extreme gamer might want. Only remember it will increase the price, but it is worth it even if it has to be built to suit. This notebook already recognized me through Microsoft id credentials so I do not have to reinvent the wheel like in older setups of older machines, and that was really nice! I think it was the smoothest changing of machines I have ever had except I have not transferred any data as of yet. This notebook does not have the storage capacity of my old laptop. I may have to take it in to my guys at the shop and see about upgrading the hard drive eventually to fix that. :) As for quality, I have used Hewlett Packard in the past at work, and it was very good quality. I am hoping this one will last as long as my work pc did. It has been several years since I have had the privilege to use a Hewlett Packard pc, and I consider it a privilege now to own one.

    Awesome laptop / tablet combo
This laptop is huge. But in a good way! I have been using a 7 year-old Mac Book with a 13" screen, so this was an upgrade. A couple of inches of screen size makes a huge difference! Beware when going through initial setup, Cortana is enabled. (Cortana is a voice-activated program similar to other platforms that rhyme with eerie) I found this out the hard way- I turned on the computer and left the room, then heard 'someone' talking! Eek! Pros: *Set up was super easy. Just a few clicks and you're ready to go. *I like the security feature of logging in with a thumb print. If a thumb print isn't convenient or you start up in tablet mode, you can enter a pin number or password. *The lack of 'crapware' is refreshing. I am glad that I didn't have to go through and clean off a lot of unnecessary silly programs that typically bog down a new computer and affects the performance. This was a first for me! *Switches easily between laptop and tablet mode. *Runs well. I watched videos and presentations with no hang ups or delays. *Sound and video quality on movies and videos is great *True plug and play functionality. I inserted a memory card and it popped up to view my photos instantly. I also plugged in a mouse and it recognized it and was working immediately. I plugged in a wired printer and it didn't recognize it immediately, but I didn't really expect it to. However, it was easy to do a quick set up. *Battery power is good- I've been using it going on 24 hours on the same charge. *HDMI-embedded port to plug in an extra screen. I connected a second monitor and it recognized it instantly. *When used as a tablet it is very nice to have a large screen. *The backlit keyboard is a nice feature, especially when working in a darker room. *Web cam can be easily turned on or off with a switch on the side. Very convenient for webinars Cons: Not many cons at all. *This is not necessarily a con but a concern. When in tablet mode the keyboard is bare on the back side. If I set it down on a table I hope I don't scratch the keys or break any of them. *They keyboard letters and numbers are white, which makes it a little difficult to see. I found myself looking closely to make sure I am hitting the correct key. *Only 2 USB ports. When using a mouse or using a port to charge your phone, it leaves no other port available to use. Overall I am very pleased with this computer. I think it will serve my needs well and be very useful for both work and play.
