Looks nice, works great! So happy w choosing this!
Purchased this to support my 1 Gig internet as my old router was not capable of the max speeds. Called support to get fully registered and set up and they were able to walk me through it very easily and get everything functioning properly. No issues or downtime and my internet is working much faster!! Looks really nice too and you can see the lights right in front!

Worked great until it didn't! I've had this router for almost a year exactly and it just quit on me one day! It was great up until that point. Had never had any trouble with NetGear products, but this one will wait until your warranty runs out and then die!

I gained over 100mbps speed, the consistency is better, streaming video games has dramatically improved and is actually enjoyable now. And range has increased as well. Overall I would recommend it as a good stand alone router for a smaller home.Kenji

I couldn't get it to work so I called the product helpline. I was told that it was registered under another name and there were two tickets open already. This was previously purchased and returned by another customer. Even though it was defective, it was returned to stock and sold to me. Because it was past the deadline, they would not take it back. This organization is horrible! The staff did not care and the manager was extremely rude!Paul

However there are two things I don't like. 1. The website where one logs in at routerlogin.net is not secure. This makes me nervous because that is where all my information is located. 2. I am unable to set up my string lights. Nighthawk is suppose to assign whether the device uses 2.4 or 5. The string lights need 2.4. They were working fine with my previous router Nighthawk R1750. Wish I could solve this in a simple way because I'm only tech savy to a point. I would love to be able to use my string lights!Skyland

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser06/17/2022Asus to Netgear in one fell swoop...After having an Asus router for a few years and having to reboot it weekly, last week it failed completely (couldn't even initiate recovery mode), and I was forced to find a replacement. So, I chose the AC1900 Netgear. So far, it is performing quite well and I'm extremely happy with the features and most especially the app which is simple and easy to use.Michael

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser01/26/2022Doesn't work, the app for it is terrible.Maybe it's not compatible with Charter internet or something, but for some reason it wouldn't actually work even though I followed all the instructions. It connected to my modem, it lit up and everything, and I even installed the app for it, but it didn't actually produce internet for my devices. My main question is why does it even need an app to connect to the internet? The current router I use doesn't. The only reason I bought this router is because my modem is on the opposite side of the house from my computer and game systems, so the signal is a tad weaker. I figured getting a new router would rectify this, but that didn't pan out. Strongly advise against it. I want a refund and unfortunately I doubt that's gonna happen but don't buy this. And to the manufacturer: Stop giving every piece of tech an app. Not everything needs one, it should work fine just being plugged into the right sockets.Nick

Unfortunately, it keeps randomly dropping the internet even after updating the firmware. The technician who helped install Webpass says this has apparently been an issue w/ this specific model.AbbyH
